Wayne Boultinghouse led the USI men’s basketball team to its first-ever NCAA II Tournament appearance in 1978 as well as its first two GLVC titles. Boultinghouse, who also served as the Director of Athletics during his tenure as Head Coach, led USI to a 111-79 record from 1974-81. He ranks third all-time in career victories after ending his stint as the Eagles’ coach with back-to-back 20-win seasons.
