Jason Krack ’96 was one of the best clutch hitters in the history of the USI baseball team. He started his career as a third baseman before becoming a record-setting defensive first baseman. A 1994 preseason All-American, Krack earned All-Region honors in 1992, 1993, and 1994 and was an All-GLVC performer in 1993, 1994, and 1995. Krack also was named Academic All-GLVC in 1993 and 1994. He still holds the USI records for total bases in a game, putouts in a game, and putouts in a season. Krack continues to rank in the top five all-time at USI in hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, runs scored, and batting average.
