How to refer to USI:
We ask that you refer to our institution as University of Southern Indiana on the first reference and as USI or Southern Indiana on subsequent references. Our nickname is the Screaming Eagles on first reference and Eagles on subsequent references, unless both teams have Eagles as their mascot.

NLI Signed or Confirmed New Student-Athletes
All NLI Signed or Confirmed by Head Coach Walk-on USI student-athletes, including transfers, are required to fill out a student athlete questionnaire so that we can keep an accurate record of your time as a Screaming Eagle. Interviews
All requests for interviews with student-athletes, coaches or administrators should be made through USI Athletic Communications. Media outlets wishing to attend practices should also inquire with Athletic Communications for times and availability.
USI student-athletes are available for interviews, except for game day.
USI coaches and players will be available for post game interviews as needed and following a brief cooling off period.
Working Credentials
Requests for working press and photography credentials for all home soccer, volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball contests must be made prior to game day with USI Athletic Communications. Please contact the appropriate contact via email and include name(s) for the passes, affiliation, press or photo and type and date of the event. Working space at the press box/press row is limited, so please contact the appropriate staff member ahead of time.
Game Services
Game notes will be supplied at all home games to accredited media representatives in the press box (men's and women's soccer, softball, baseball) or on press row (volleyball, men's and women's basketball).
During basketball games, stats are provided to broadcasters during media timeouts. Media sitting at press row will be provided with stats at halftime and with a final stats packet after the game on press row. During all soccer and volleyball games, halftime and final stats are available in the press box. At baseball and softball games, final stats are available in the press box.
Wireless Internet access is available at all home soccer, volleyball, basketball, and baseball events.
