Hall of Fame
Lori Leonard Swaim ’98 was a third-team All-American as a freshman in 1995 after hitting .426 with 40 stolen bases. She also was a two-time All-Region and two-time All-GLVC third baseman. In USI’s record book, Leonard Swaim still ranks second all-time in hits, third in stolen bases, fourth in runs, seventh in doubles, and 10th in RBIs. The Eagles won a pair of GLVC Championships (1995 and 1998) and made two appearances in the NCAA II Tournament (1995 and 1998) during her tenure.
