Hall of Fame
Stewart Dowds was USI’s first All-American in men’s soccer, earning the award in 1983 and 1984. He was one of the best defenders to ever put on a USI uniform and helped lead the Eagles to their only NCAA II Tournament appearance in 1982 and to four straight GLVC titles. He earned All-GLVC honors each season with the Eagles, along with three All-Mid-East Region awards.
