Laura Ellerbusch Schnur '07 was a 2004 AVCA All-American, a four-time All-Region, and three-time All-GLVC performer during her four seasons. She also was an AVCA National Player of the Week and an Academic All-District. Schnur continues to hold USI’s all-time record for career attacking percentage (.325) after finishing her career ranked third all-time at USI in block assists (254), fourth in total blocks (351) and fifth in kills (1,149).

Schnur was a member of two GLVC championship teams and played an instrumental role in the Eagles’ 2004 team that finished with a 15-1 GLVC record.
