Kim Boehmer Coffman ’04 became the first player in school history to earn AVCA All-America honors in 2003. The four-year starter who finished her career ranked first all-time at USI in career assists, was a four-time All-GLVC and three-time All-Region honoree during her career at USI. Boehmer Coffman, who set the single-season school record for assists, was named the GLVC Freshman of the Year in 2000 after helping the Eagles to a 27-4 overall record and a 16-2 mark in GLVC play. She helped guide USI to four GLVC Championship matches as well as the program’s first-ever GLVC title and NCAA II Tournament appearance in 2002.
