Ernie Brothers ’76 played for the Eagles when USI was know as Indiana State University Evansville. He was the first player in program history to record 1,000 career points as he finished with 1,268. He held the career and season scoring averages when he graduated in 1976 and still ranks seventh on USI’s all-time career scoring list and 13th on USI’s all-time career rebounding list (527).
