USI’s all-time leader in hits (270), Michael Peerman ’00 was named third-team All-American in 1999 after hitting .395 with five home runs and 60 RBIs. Peerman, who hit .417 as a sophomore in 1998, was a two-time All-GLVC performer. He also is tied for first all-time at USI in triples (13); is second in doubles (59) and total bases (400); is third in RBIs (179); and is fifth in runs scored (158).
