ALLENDALE, Mich.—University of Southern Indiana Women's Track & Field senior
Jennifer Comastri (Indianapolis, Indiana) posted a strong NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time Friday night at the Grand Valley State University Holiday Open.
Comastri finished her heat in the 5,000-meter race in 16 minutes, 44.91 seconds, a mark that was the top Division II time in the meet and seventh in her 23-competitor heat. Freshman
Cameron Hough (Olney, Illinois) also posted a provisional qualifying time in the 5,000 meters as she finished 21st in the same heat Comastri competed in with a time of 17:23.84.
Senior
Doriane Langlois (Stains, France) also competed in the 5,000 meters Friday night, finishing 18th in her heat with a with time of 17 minutes, 51seconds.
USI's men also had a pair of competitors running in the men's 5,000 meters Friday night. Junior

Austin Nolan (Evansville, Indiana) finished fifth and eighth, respectively, in their heats with times of 14:33.95 and 14:34.60.
The Screaming Eagles finish their early bird schedule next Friday (December 10) when they travel to Charleston, Illinois, to compete in the Eastern Illinois University Early Bird.
Note: There will only be provisional qualifying times for the NCAA II Indoor and Outdoor meets in 2021-22.
