EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The No. 36 University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team defeated the University of Missouri-St. Louis, 7-2, Wednesday afternoon in a non-conference match at the USI Tennis Courts.
USI (8-5) got wins at number one and two doubles to take a 2-1 lead heading into singles play; then won in straight sets at number one through five singles to clinch the victory on Senior Day.

Joseph Boesing picked up two wins in his final home match of his career to lead the Screaming Eagles.

Ben Boesing, for an 8-4 win at number one doubles before cruising to a 6-2, 6-0 victory at number three singles.
Ben Boesing also had a 6-0, 6-0 win at number five singles, while junior
Diego Gimenez and sophomore
Juan Quiroz scored straight-set victories at number one and two singles, respectively. Gimenez and Quiroz also teamed up for an 8-2 win at number two doubles.
The Eagles return to Great Lakes Valley Conference play Friday at 1 p.m. (CDT) when they visit the University of Indianapolis in a men's and women's doubleheader.
