EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team fell to No. 37 University of Indianapolis, 9-0, Friday and to Northern Kentucky University, 8-1, Saturday.
On Friday, the Screaming Eagles (0-10, 0-4 GLVC) lost 3-0 in doubles and dropped all six singles matches in straight sets.
The Eagles grabbed a win at number one doubles on Saturday, but lost all six singles matches in singles play.
Junior Reilly Ackerman (Mt. Carmel, Illinois) and sophomore Katie Jo Clagg (Terre Haute, Indiana) led the Eagles as they posted a 9-8 (7-5) victory at number one doubles against Northern Kentucky.
USI returns to action Friday when it travels to Quincy, Illinois, to take on Quincy University. The GLVC men's and women's doubleheader is slated for a 2 p.m. start.
