EVANSVILLE, Ind. – University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis begins its 2026 fall season on Friday and Saturday as the Screaming Eagles travel to the Southern Illinois University Edwardsville Cougar Invitational in Edwardsville, Illinois.
 
USI will face host SIUE, McKendree University, and the University of Missouri-St. Louis at the invitational. The Screaming Eagles will take the court midday Friday. Teams will be playing singles and doubles matches throughout both days. Singles matches will be best of three sets, with doubles being a six-game set.
 
USI Head Coach Chris Crawford brings back an experienced squad in 2026-27, featuring six seniors – Sofia Davidoff, Antonia Ferrarini, Enna Krnjic, Claire Meyer, Lily Meyer, and Anais Negrail. Junior Rylie Wilkison also returns, while the Screaming Eagles welcome sophomore transfer Marian Hayes.
 
Ferrarini and Davidoff were both All-Ohio Valley Conference selections following the 2026 spring season. Ferrarini was First-Team All-OVC, while Davidoff was named Second-Team All-OVC.
 
USI is coming off its appearance at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship Tournament last spring, where the Screaming Eagles came up short in the quarterfinals against Southeast Missouri State University.
