EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis is sending three student-athletes into the finals of the Ohio Valley Conference Fall Invitational Sunday at Wesselman Tennis Center.
 
Seniors Sofia Davidoff and Antonia Ferrarini punched their ticket to Sunday's final with a 6-4 victory over SIU Edwardsville's Jessica Li and Elena Palioura in the semifinals of A-Flight doubles on Saturday. Davidoff and Ferrarini won twice on Friday to advance to Saturday's semifinal round.
 
Davidoff and Ferrarini square off against Southeast Missouri State University's Mia Mayerova and Maja Bajorek Sunday at 9 a.m.
 
Sophomore Marian Hayes also earned a trip to the finals in C-Flight singles with a pair of three-set victories on Saturday. Hayes turned away a comeback effort from SIUE's Emerson Metzger in the quarterfinals with a super-set tie-breaker victory.  She duplicated that performance against SEMO's Chia-Ling Tsao in the semifinals.
 
Hayes squares off against SEMO's Michelle Huebner Sunday at 9 a.m. Huebner also had a pair of three-set, come-from-behind wins on Saturday.
 
Saturday was a solid day for the Screaming Eagles, who saw their players go 5-4 overall. Senior Enna Krnjic and junior Rylie Wilkison also earned consolation-bracket wins in B-Flight singles play Saturday.
 
In addition to USI's matches, the finals of A-Flight singles consists of Bryant University's Yahhli Noy and SIUE's Elena Palioura, while the B-Flight singles championship will be contested between SEMO's Sofia Zemtsova and Bryant's Ana Mitevska. Both of those matches are slated to start at 9 a.m.
 
This marks the second straight year that USI has hosted the OVC Fall Invitational. The Screaming Eagles also are slated to host the 2027 OVC Women's Tennis Championship April 23-25 at Wesselman Tennis Center.
