EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. - University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis opened the 2026 fall season at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville's Cougar Invitational on Friday and Saturday.
 
The Screaming Eagles finished the weekend after taking on SIUE, McKendree University, and the University of Missouri-St. Louis, with a 7-10 singles record as a team and a 5-3 doubles record.
 
Senior Sofia Davidoff, one of two returning All-Ohio Valley Conference team members, finished the weekend 2-0 as a singles player. Davidoff picked up dominant wins against UMSL (6-4, 6-1) and McKendree (6-1, 6-3).
 
Sophomore transfer Marian Hayes made her USI debut at the Cougar Invite, finishing with a 2-1 singles record. Hayes grabbed wins over UMSL (6-0, 6-3) and McKendree (7-5, 6-3).
 
Junior Rylie Wilkison and senior Enna Krnjic recorded the best doubles record as a pair, going 2-1 with wins over host team SIUE (6-3) and McKendree (6-2).
