EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team concluded its 2003-04 season with a 6-3 victory over Indiana University-Southeast Thursday evening at the USI Tennis Courts. The Screaming Eagles picked up three doubles victories to finish their season with a 10-7 record.
Seniors Kathleen Davis (Sullivan, Indiana) and Nichole Freyberger (Jasper, Indiana) finished their doubles career with an 8-1 victory over IUS's Sarah Mumaw and Meghan Bielski. The two finished their season with a 12-6 record at doubles play.
Both Davis and Freyberger posted wins in singles action, with Davis posting a 6-1, 6-4 victory at number two singles and Freyberger posting a 6-0, 6-1 win at number three singles.
