EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf will compete in the Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky, on Monday and Tuesday.

The tournament will take place at the University Club at Arlington, which is a 72-par course on 6,069 yards. The event will consist of 36 holes on Monday, with the final 18 coming on Tuesday.

USI will compete against nine universities, including Akron University, Bellarmine University, Butler University, Indian University Indianapolis, Northern Kentucky University, Southern Illinois University, Youngstown State, and EKU.

Last time out, USI posted an eighth-place finish at the Julie hosted by NKU. The competition was highlighted by a season-best final round of 309. After opening with a 326, the Screaming Eagles showed steady improvement throughout the tournament, led by standout play from Kirsch, who fired a final-round 74 (+2) to finish 16th overall.

Following the Colonel Classic, the Eagles will compete in the Jan Weaver Invitational hosted by Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky, on April 11-12.
