EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf closes out its regular season at the Jan Weaver Invitational hosted by Murray State University, Saturday and Sunday in Murray, Kentucky.

The tournament will take place at the Miller Memorial Golf Course, which houses a 72-par course on 6,109 yards.

USI will compete against six universities for the top slot, including Lindenwood University, Southern Illinois University, Tennessee State University, Belmont University, Austin Peay State University, and Murray State.

Brianna Kirsch, junior
Tora Timinsky, sophomore
Fernanda Vera, freshman
McKenna Lowe, and graduate student
Valeria Lopez de Haro Juste for the event.

Last time out, USI placed 10th at the Colonel Classic, hosted by Eastern Kentucky University, with a team score of 979. Kirsch led the way for the team, finishing in the top 20 after posting a 77 (+5) in the second round.

Following Sunday's conclusion, the team will compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship in Dalton, Georgia, on April 19-21. The team will take on the rest of the conference over the three-day event.Â
