RICHMOND, Ky.- University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf concluded the Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Kentucky, on Tuesday afternoon. The team finished in 10th place out of 10 teams competing, tallying a team score of 979.

Round 1
The Screaming Eagles opened the tournament strongly, with sophomore
Brianna Kirsch tagging an impressive 78 (+6) first-round performance. Junior
Tora Timinsky also had a great 81 (+9) stroke performance in the opening round.

Closing out the recorded scoring, freshman
McKenna Lowe and graduate student
Valeria Lopez de Haro Juste each tallied an 83 (+11) stroke opening round.

Round 2
The opening day of competition continued with the second round. Kirsch continued her performance, marking a 77 (+5) second round score, giving her the largest round improvement on the team. Lopez de Haro Juste held steady, recording her second 83 (+11) stroke round of the day, with Lowe tallying an 85 (+13) in the round.

Fernanda Vera shot an 84 (+12) in the second round, adding her to the scorecard.

Round 3
In the final round, Kirsch climbed into the top 20 on the leaderboard with an 80 (+8). Timinsky and Lowe followed closely, each carding an 81 (+9). Lopez de Haro Juste secured the last scoring position with an 83 (+11).

The Eagles will wrap up their regular season at the Jan Weaver Invitational hosted by Murray State University on April 11-12. Following the invitational, USI will compete in the Ohio Valley Conference Championship in Dalton, Georgia, April 19-21.
