EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis player Antonia Ferrarini was named the Ohio Valley Conference Singles Player of the Week for her win at Western Illinois University.
 
The junior earned the lone Eagles' point in a tough-fought three-set match on the No. 1 singles court (6-3, 4-6, 7-5). The win marks Ferrarini's fifth win of the 2026 season.
 
This honor marks the first weekly honor for this year's Screaming Eagles team, and the first for Ferrarini in her career. She is a two-time selection to the All-OVC Second Team.
 
The Eagles are back in action tomorrow afternoon to continue OVC play as they travel to Lindenwood University to take on the Lions in the second conference match of the season.
