Isaac Stanford and sophomore
Cole Hess each posted personal-bests Friday to lead University of Southern Indiana Men's Track & Field at the Washington University Distance Carnival.
Stanford posted a 1,500-meter time of three minutes, 48.94 seconds to finish eighth out of 36 runners. His time lands him in fifth-place on USI's all-time 1,500-meter list and ranks first in the Ohio Valley Conference during the early stages of the 2025 outdoor season.
Hess recorded an outdoor personal-best time of 1:53.82 in the 800 meters. His time also ranks fifth on USI's all-time outdoor 800-meter list and is No. 3 in the OVC this season.
The Screaming Eagles return to action April 4-5 when they travel to Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to compete in the Joey Haines Invitational.
