The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team set a team-record in a second straight tournament with a 36-hole score of 664 to finish fifth at the Laker Fall Classic in Allendale, Michigan. The tournament was hosted by Grand Valley State University at the Meadows Golf Course.
Freshman Megan Pendergraff (Henderson, Kentucky) led all USI golfers with a two-round 162 (80-82) to place 11th overall. Sophomore Amanda Zehner (Henderson, Kentucky) followed Pendergraff, tying for the 17th spot with a 36-hole score of 165 (79-86).
The Eagles will return to Indiana to play in Cardinal Classic hosted by Ball State University Saturday and Sunday, September 6-7, at The Players Club in Muncie, Indiana.
