EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Women's Golf returns to The Julie, hosted by Northern Kentucky University, in Batavia, Ohio. The tournament will open on Monday and conclude on Tuesday.

This will be the Screaming Eagles' fourth consecutive season participating in the Julie. Last year, the team finished ninth out of 12 teams, scoring a 659 over the two rounds. At the event, sophomore
Brianna Kirsch topped the team leaderboard, finishing +23 for the event and ending 37th overall.

The event will be held at Elks Run Golf Course, which features a par of 71 at 5919 yards.

There will be 12 universities battling it out over the two-day event, including Indiana University Indianapolis, Oakland University, Valparaiso University, Purdue University Fort Wayne, University of Illinois Chicago, University of Detroit Mercy, Saint Francis University, Ashland University, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wayne State University, NKU, and USI.

Last time out, USI battled crosstown foe the University of Evansville in a dual match at Fendrich Golf Course. The Aces came out on top, 5.5-2.5, but the team of sophomore

Valeria Lopez de Haro Juste picked up the women's side's lone full point of the day, clinching the victory on the 16th hole

The team's last tournament action came at the NKU Spring Invitational on March 13-15, where they finished ninth out of 11 teams. Vera earned a top 20 finish, shooting +21 over the three rounds. The best single round of the tournament came from Lopez de Haro Juste, who amazed with a +4 first round.

Following the conclusion of The Julie, USI will travel to Richmond, Kentucky, for the Colonel Classic hosted by Eastern Kentucky University on March 30-31.
