MARTIN, Tenn.--Freshman Shelby Braselton (Haubstadt, Indiana) recorded a pair of wins to pace University of Southern Indiana Women's Tennis at the University of Tennessee-Martin Skyhawk Fall Invite Friday and Saturday.

Braselton earned a win in singles play and another in doubles competition as the Screaming Eagles squared off against players from UT-Martin and Martin Methodist University.

Overall, USI posted a 3-16 mark in singles competition and a 1-8 record in doubles play on the weekend. Junior Lauren Hambrock (Terre Haute, Indiana) and freshman Lindsey McCord (Greenfield, Indiana) also earned wins in singles competition, while freshman Kylie Skepnek (Algonquin, Illinois) paired with Braselton for the win in doubles play.

The Eagles conclude the fall season with a dual match at Oakland City University October 22 at 5:45 p.m. in Oakland City, Indiana, and the "Broomstick Classic" Doubles Fundraiser October 25 at 6 p.m. at the USI Tennis Courts.
