CHARLESTON, W.V.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team journeyed south this weekend stopping at the Charleston Tennis Center to play a match against the Cougars where it fell 2-7.

Jennifer Mizikar (Batavia, Illinois) and freshman
Lauryn Thompson (Evansville, Indiana) took the lone Eagles (5-4, 0-0 GLVC) win in the doubles at number three, 8-4. Mizikar then went on to win the second Eagles point at number five singles winning 6-2, 6-2.
USI continues their trek to Florida, stopping in Orlando for its next neutral site match against Concordia College- New York on Tuesday, March 6.
