EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team suffered a 8-1 setback to Maryville University in a non-conference match-up at the Evansville Tennis Center.
The lone Eagles win came in the doubles competition with sophomore
Lauren Hambrock (Terre Haute, Indiana) and senior
Kelsey Shipman (Olney, Illinois) at the number one doubles section 8-4.
USI will have all week to prepare for their next test, Sunday February 25, in Murray, Kentucky where it faces Division I opponent Murray State University and Cumberland University (Tenn.). Action is slated for 9 a.m. versus Murray State and 1 p.m. versus Cumberland.
