EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team was swept by the University of Missouri-St. Louis, falling 9-0 to the Tritons Sunday afternoon.

Freshman Lauren Hambrock (Terre Haute, Indiana) battled at number two singles, but came up short 6-4, 6-3. At number four singles, senior Kymberly Brannon (Louisville, Kentucky) had the same 6-4, 6-3 defeat.

USI (6-6) continues nonconference play Friday when they host regional foe Grand Valley State at 11 a.m. at Wesselman Park.
