EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team announced the signing of
Caitlyn Martin (Evansville, Ind.) to a national letter of intent for the 2015-16 season.
A graduate of Memorial High School (Evansville, Ind.), Martin helped the Tigers to a top four finish in the 2014 IHSAA Girls Tennis Team State Tournament. Martin earned honorable mention singles all-state honors in 2014-15 and second-team doubles all-state honors in 2014.
"Caitlin comes to USI from a successful high school program. I know she is excited about college and continuing her tennis career" said USI head coach Keely Porter. "Caitlyn will be rejoining two former Memorial Tigers in senior Elizabeth Wilm and junior Brenna Wu." The Screaming Eagles welcome Martin to a squad that finished the 2014-15 campaign with a 14-8 record and earned a berth in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Tournament.
