EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The No. 25 University of Southern Indiana men's tennis team suffered a 6-3 Great Lakes Valley Conference setback to No. 24 University of Indianapolis Friday at the Evansville Tennis Center.
After dropping an 8-1 decision at No. 3 doubles, the Screaming Eagles surged back to even the match at a win each when the duo of junior
Jack Joyce (Bournemouth, England) and red-shirt freshman
Aaron Barris (Marietta, Georgia) earned an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles.
UIndy (7-3, 2-0 GLVC), however, broke the Eagles' serve late in the match at No. 2 doubles as it picked up a 9-7 win and a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.
The Eagles (8-5, 1-1 GLVC) fell behind 3-1 following a loss at No. 3 singles, but three-set wins by Joyce at No. 1 singles and freshman

UIndy answered with straight-set wins at No. 4 and No. 5 singles to clinch the victory. The Greyhounds capped off the win with a three-set triumph at No. 6 singles.
