Eagles drop match at TTU

COOKEVILLE, Tenn.- University of Southern Indiana Men's Tennis drops its match at Tennessee Tech University on Friday afternoon, 6-1.
 
Doubles
The Golden Eagles claimed possession of the doubles point, but the USI pair, Aaron Dawson and Adam Koon, were the first to finish as they grabbed their first win as a pair in a dominant 6-1 win on the No. 3 doubles court.
 
Singles
TTU recorded victory in all but one of the six singles matches. Senior Mathys Bove, who is the reigning Horizon League Player of the Week, tallied his eighth win of the season on the No. 3 singles court in a win-by-retirement match, ending with a score of 6-6.
 
Sophomore Jy Hibbert battled hard on the No. 4 singles court, losing his match 6-3, 6-3, while fellow sophomore Koon came close to a win on the No. 5 match (6-4, 6-2).
