EVANSVILLE, Ind.- University of Southern Indiana Men's Tennis seniors Axel Sabourin and Mathys Bove were named the Under Armour #HLTennis Doubles Team of the Week for their two conference wins last weekend.
 
The pair went undefeated as the No. 1 Doubles team, as the Screaming Eagles took on Tennessee State University on Friday, followed by Belmont University on Saturday.
 
Bove and Sabourin took down the No. 89 nationally ranked TSU pair in a 6-4 match, in just the second match as a pair this season. On their Senior Day celebration in Saturday's match against Belmont, the pair took down the No. 1 doubles team in a tough-fought match that went extra points (7-6 (7-5)).
 
This honor marks the second Doubles Team of the Week award for Sabourin, after winning it last year with teammate Jy Hibbert, and the first conference player of the week award for Bove.
 
Bove and Sabourin are now 2-1 in doubles matches as a pair in their senior season, and are set to take on Tennessee Tech University and TSU this Friday and Saturday on the road as the team wraps up the final regular season game.
