EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team concluded the 2013-14 season a 9-0 shutout victory of Indiana University Southeast Wednesday afternoon at the USI Tennis Courts. USI ends the season with its second-straight shutout and finishes the campaign 8-14 overall, while IU Southast ends the 2013-14 regular season 14-6.
 
The Screaming Eagles took command of the match quickly by winning all three of the doubles matches. Senior Shannon Joyce and freshman Miranda Camp set the tone at number three doubles with an 8-0 win.
 
Sophomore Elizabeth Skinner and freshman Brenna Wu followed with an 8-1victory at number two doubles, while senior Morgan Coquerille and sophomore Elizabeth Wilm closed out the doubles sweep with an 8-6 win at number one.
 
USI finished the season with a flourish, sweeping all six of the singles matches without losing a set. Senior Alyssa Hoover finished the Grenadiers off with a straight-set 7-6 (5), 6-1 win at number five singles.
