Women’s tennis falls to Tritons in non-conference match

ST. PETERS, Mo.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback to the University of Missouri-St. Louis in a non-conference match Saturday afternoon.

USI (3-4) took losses at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles before dropping five-of-six singles matches in straight sets.

Sophomore Elizabeth Skinner and freshman Miranda Camp accounted for the Screaming Eagles' lone win in doubles play, while freshman Kymberly Brannon salvaged a win at No. 5 singles.

The Eagles return to action Monday at 11 a.m. (CDT) when they take on Bentley University in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
