ROMEOVILLE, Ill.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team suffered its fifth straight loss Saturday as No. 47 Lewis University defeated the Screaming Eagles, 9-0, in a Great Lakes Valley Conference match.

USI (5-11, 0-3 GLVC) lost five of six singles matches in straight sets, with freshman Brenna Wu falling in three sets at No. 3 singles.

The Eagles return to action Friday at 3 p.m. when they host Saint Joseph's College in a men's and women's doubleheader at the USI Tennis Courts.
