LOUISVILLE, Ky.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team recorded an 18-hole score of 318 Monday to finish in a tie for third out of seven teams at the Bellarmine Invitational at the Persimmon Ridge Golf Course in Louisville, Kentucky.
 
Sophomore Anastasia Carter led the the Screaming Eagles with a four-over-par 76, good enough for a tie for second in the 47-player field. Senior Kaelyn Lingenfelter tied for eighth with a 79, while junior Griffin Glasscock tied for 10th with an 80.
 
The University of Indianapolis won the tournament with a single-round score of 315. USI finished just one stroke back of second-place Ferris State University
 
Grand Valley State's Abby Kelly Hartigan was the tournament medalist after finishing with an 18-hole score of 72 (38-34).
 
The Eagles get a weekend off and hit the links again April 6-7 at the Maryville Spring Invitational at The Quarry Golf Club in Maryland Heights, Missouri.
