Elizabeth Skinner, the University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback to No. 18 Florida Institute of Technology Wednesday morning.

Miranda Camp for an 8-6 win at No. 3 doubles before earning the Screaming Eagles' only win in singles competition with a 6-3, 7-5 triumph at No. 4.
USI (5-7), which saw a two-match winning streak come to an end, lost at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles as it went into singles action trailing, 2-1.
Florida Tech (6-7) dominated singles play as it won in straight sets at No. 1-3 as well as No. 5 and No. 6.
The Eagles conclude their spring trip Thursday at noon (CDT) when they take on the University of South Dakota, an NCAA Division I opponent, in Cocoa Beach, Florida. USI opens Great Lakes Valley Conference play March 22 when it travels to Louisville, Kentucky, to take on Bellarmine University.
