COCOA BEACH, Fla. – The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team posted a strong 6-3 victory over Bentley University Monday in its first match of a four-game swing in Florida. USI rises to 4-6 overall, while Bentley falls to 5-2.

The Screaming Eagles swept through the doubles matches with senior Morgan Coquerille and sophomore Elizabeth Wilm posting an 8-4 win at number one and freshman Brenna Wu and sophomore Elizabeth Skinner got on the board with an 8-5 victory at number two. Freshman Miranda Camp and senior Shannon Joyce completed the doubles sweep with a 9-8 (7-5) tiebreaker win at number three.
 
In singles action, Wu and Skinner posted straight set victories at number three and four, respectively. Senior Alyssa Hoover won in straight sets at number six to round out the Eagles 6-3 victory.
 
The Eagles return to the court for their next action tomorrow when they face Webber International University in Babson Park, Florida.
