EVANSVILLE, Ind.--- The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Western Kentucky University in its spring opener Sunday night at the Evansville Tennis Center.
Western Kentucky took command early by sweeping the doubles matches. The Hilltoppers maintained control in singles play, sweeping all but one set in the six matches.

Brenna Wu nearly clinched a point at the No. 3 slot, but lost the three-set tiebreaker 6-4, 4-6, 10-4.
The Screaming Eagles, who are 2-3 overall, continue their spring season Saturday, February 15 when they travel to St. Charles, Missouri, to take on Lindenwood University.
