EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team fell to Austin Peay 9-0 Saturday evening in a non-conference tilt at the Evansville Tennis Center. The Screaming Eagles have lost four straight and are now 2-5 overall.
Seniors
Shannon Joyce and
Morgan Coquerille had a battle on the No. 2 doubles court, but lost late 8-4.
Freshman
Brenna Wu at No.3 singles challenged well, but eventually fell 6-1, 6-2. Coquerille began to find her rhythm in No. 2 singles, but couldn't complete the comeback in the 6-0, 6-3 loss.
The Eagles are next in action on Saturday, March 1 against Ferris State University at the Evansville Tennis Center.
