EVANSVILLE, Ind. – After a 2-2 fall season and senior
Morgan Coquerille coming away with a 4-2 mark in singles action, the University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team begins its 2014 spring season Sunday against Western Kentucky University.
The Screaming Eagles and Lady Toppers start their match, which is a men's and women's doubleheader, at 6 p.m. inside the Evansville Tennis Center.
Western Kentucky defeated the Eagles in the two teams' last meeting in Evansville by a score of 6-1. Saturday's match is the first of the spring for the Lady Toppers.
The Lady Toppers finished last season with a record of 10-8, marking the sixth-straight season the Lady Toppers posted a .500 or better record.
Following the showdown with Western Kentucky, USI returns to action February 15 at Lindenwood University.
