Eagles finish 11th at UIndy Fall Invitational

CAMBY, Ind.- The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team shot identical first and second day scores to finish 11th at the UIndy Fall Invitational at the Heritage Crossing Golf Links in Camby, Indiana.
 
Senior Kaelyn Lingenfelter (Rochester, IN) led the way for the Screaming Eagles, finishing in a tie for 41st. Lingenfelter was in a tie for 36th after one round, but a second round 81 dropped Lingenfelter five spots with a two-day 162 (81-81). Junior Alex VanWanzeele (Plainfield, IN) was the second amongst the Eagles as her 163 (82-81) put her in a tie for 44th.

Ferris State University won the tournament with a team score of 634 (315-319). USI's team total of 656 (328-328) was good enough to top Great Lakes Valley Conference teams Bellarmine University, the University of Illinois Springfield, Maryville University, Drury University, and Saint Joseph's College.
