Eagles fall at UIndy

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. –
The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team lost 9-0 to the University of Indianapolis Saturday afternoon in a Great Lakes Valley Conference tilt.
 
The Screaming Eagles fall to a game under .500 at 8-9 and are 3-3 in GLVC play. UIndy finishes second in the East Division with a 5-1 record, while ending the regular season with an 8-3 mark.
 
At No. 2 doubles, junior Morgan Coquerille and freshman Elizabeth Skinner nearly got the point, but fell 8-5.
 
Freshman Elizabeth Wilm, meanwhile, nearly took the point at the No. 1 slot, but lost a three-set tiebreaker 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (10-3).
 
USI concludes the regular season Wednesday when it hosts cross-town foe the University of Evansville at 3 p.m.
