EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team was downed 8-1 Sunday afternoon by Division I Eastern Illinois University.
 
Senior Lindsey White and freshman Elizabeth Wilm put a fight up at No. 2 doubles, but fell in the tie breaker (9-8). Junior Morgan Coquerille and senior Ellena Stumpf fell in their No.1 doubles match 8-2, while senior Logan Ackerman and freshman Autumn Fair lost 8-3 at No. 3 doubles.
 
In singles play, Wilm won the first set 7-6 and the second set 6-4 to grab the Eagles only victory of the afternoon.
 
USI wraps up the fall season October 13 when it hosts the University of Charleston.
