EVANSVILLE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback at the hands of visiting Lewis University Friday afternoon at the USI Tennis Courts.
USI (7-8, 2-2 GLVC) suffered three losses in doubles play to begin the match; then lost at number one, two, three, and five doubles before notching its only victories of the contest.

Alyssa Hoover got the Screaming Eagles on the board with a straight-set win at number six singles, while junior
Logan Ackerman concluded the match with a three-set victory at number four singles.
USI returns to action next Friday at 1 p.m. when it hosts NCAA Division I foe Western Kentucky University in a men's and women's doubleheader at the USI Tennis Courts.
