EVANSVILLE, Ind.—University of Southern Indiana sophomore distance runner
Erika Wilson was named second-team All-Great Lakes Valley Conference for women's indoor track & field following his performance at the league meet last month.
Wilson recorded a pair of second-place finishes at the GLVC Indoor Championships to lead the Screaming Eagles' to a sixth-place finish. Wilson, who was second in the 5,000 meters and the 3,000 meters, accounted for 18 of the Eagles' 38 points.
The co-GLVC Freshman of the Year for indoor track a year ago, Wilson is earning second-team All-GLVC accolades for the second straight season.
USI opens the outdoor season March 30-31 when it competes at the Washington University Invitational in St. Louis, Missouri. The Eagles also compete at the Billy Smith Invitational in Vincennes, Indiana, March 31.
