Eagles take final fall match

EVANSVILLE, Ind. –
Senior Lindsey White's three-set marathon victory at No. 2 singles gave the University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team a 5-4 victory over the University of Charleston Saturday afternoon.
 
White, who took the opening set 6-2, dropped her second set 4-6 to Kelsey Hensley, before bouncing back to take the decisive set 6-2.
 
The Screaming Eagles also grabbed victories at No.4 and No. 6 singles, as senior Ellena Stumpf and freshman Autumn Fair were winners. Stumpf won 6-3 and 6-4, while Fair dropped her opponent 6-4 and 7-5.
 
In doubles play, USI took the wins at No. 2 and No. 3, with junior Morgan Coquerille and freshman Elizabeth Skinner winning 8-6, while Fair and Stumpf came away with the 8-2 victory.
