HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. -- The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team was shutout by Northern Kentucky University, 9-0, Friday afternoon in Highland Heights, Kentucky. USI falls to 6-7 overall and 0-2 in the GLVC, while NKU goes to 5-3, 2-0 GLVC.

The Norse got out in front of the Screaming Eagles early in the match, taking all three doubles matches to lead 3-0. NKU continued to dominate in singles play, winning all six in straight sets.

USI continues its GLVC road swing Saturday at Saint Joseph's College. The Eagles return to the friendly surroundings of the USI Tennis Courts next weekend when they host Lewis University on April 9 and the University of Indianapolis on April 10.
