MUNCIE, Ind.—The University of Southern Indiana women's golf team shot a closing-round 335 Monday to finish 10th out of 12 teams at the Ball State Cardinal Classic. The Screaming Eagles started the tournament with a 330 and were in ninth-place after Sunday's opening round.
Sophomore
Jess Dooley (Goshen, Indiana) led the Eagles with a 14-over-par 156 after shooting matching 78's in both the first and second round. Dooley finished in a tie for 11th with her performance.
Junior
Tara Wiley (Oxford, Indiana) finished in a tie for 31st after opening the tournament with an 82 Sunday and closing it with an 81 Monday.
USI returns to action April 18-19 when it competes at the Lewis Aviator Classic in Lockport, Illinois. The GLVC Championships are April 26-27 in Marion, Illinois.
