The University of Southern Indiana women's tennis team dropped a non-conference match 5-4 to the University of Indianapolis Friday afternoon in Indianapolis, Indiana. USI will play two matches Saturday against Grand Valley State University and Cleveland State University in Indianapolis.
The Screaming Eagles were led by junior Kalie Ackerman (Allendale, Illinois), who won at number-six singles 7-6, 6-4. She opened the afternoon by combining with freshman Rachel Engle (Walton, Indiana) to win at number three doubles 8-2. With the loss, USI falls to 8-6.
