The University of Southern Indiana had a rough weekend on the road in the GLVC, losing to Northern Kentucky University Friday night 7-2, and to the University of Indianapolis, 6-3, on Saturday afternoon. USI falls to 4-2 overall and in the GLVC.

Junior Kalie Ackerman (Allendale, Illinois) led the Eagles this weekend, picking up two of the three USI singles wins. The victories broke a three-match losing streak for Ackerman, who moved from the number five to the number six slot in the line-up.

The next action for the Eagles will be Wednesday, September 17, at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. Match time is 3 p.m. (CT).
